In China, political discourse frequently dominates dinner table conversations, spurred by the influence of Chinese patriotic culture. This collective cultural behavior has become a pervasive norm within Chinese society. However, this fervent engagement in political dialogue has paradoxically coincided with a decline in the political involvement of the masses, constrained by various societal factors. "Round Table," as a project, ingeniously amalgamates mechanical apparatus with 3D animation. As the news, portrayed through 3D animation, unfolds, a mechanical arm orchestrates a synchronized simulation of applause, thereby visually recreating the concept of "table politics" through a critical visual narrative. This project serves as a visual exposition of the intrinsic interplay between Chinese politics and society, offering insights into the distinctive nature of political discourse and the multifaceted constraints that circumscribe civic participation within the unique national context of China.
